Two games I have games that play war strategy, Company of Heroes and World in Conflict demo.
Both are very good, and World in Conflict demo also includes online play.
The best strategy game Rome Total War ever. In battles you can win with weaker units so that if the law or lose the battle with more units if you're not a very good strategist. The campaigns are fun and there are many CIVS playable.
AoE3, or medieval war2
Commander supreme ruler is pretty funny, but losses like 2 weeks to 3 Wars conqure command tiberiam many levels and never boring, and many online games to play
and the Battle for Middle Earth 2 expansion is
Star Wars Star Wars Battlefront and the rule of law in the war, it's cool!
