Yes Blocked channels can be painful. What you should do is in the bottle at least once a day now, then gradually increase the bottle to start, while the lower chest. You can always with a breast pump, if need be. I used to have swollen breasts and take warm towels, and relieve them, which helps the pain. Good luck.
